eMarketingEye celebrates record haul of 27 award wins in 2016

Passes the 100 awards landmark as company nears 10th anniversary

eMarketingEye (www.emarketingeye.com), the award-winning Sri Lankan integrated Digital Marketing Agency and a pioneer in the industry, reached a record haul of 27 award wins in the year 2016, making it one of the most successful years in the company’s history. The 27 awards comprised of 5 Adrian Awards wins, 10 The Communicator Awards wins, 8 W3 Awards wins and 4 Impact Awards wins. Overall, eMarketingEye has now bagged a total of 104 awards during the course of its 10 years of operations.

In the Adrian Awards, Berjaya Hotels and Resorts won a Gold Award in the “Web Development” category, Anantara Hotels, Resorts & Spas – Flash Sales Campaign won a Silver Award in the “SEM” category while The Ascott Limited also won a Silver Award in the “Loyalty Program” category. Additionally, both Chatrium Hotels and Residences and Anantara Hotels, Resorts & Spas – Remarketing Campaign won Bronze Awards in the “SEM” category. Having commenced in 1956, the Adrian Awards evaluates entries from every segment of the travel and hospitality marketing industry. This includes hotels, airlines, cruise lines, car rental companies, destinations and credit card companies, among others.

Citrus Leisure stood out among The Communicator Awards wins with an “Award of Excellence” in the “Hotel & Lodging” category while The Rainforest Ecolodge, Cantaloupe Hotels, Colombo Courtyard, Amagi Hotels, Mount Lavinia Hotel, Berjaya Hotels and Resorts, AVANI Hotels & Resorts, The Blue Water Hotel and Oman Hotels all won an “Award of Distinction”. Founded two decades ago, The Communicator Awards is one of the leading international awards program recognizing big ideas in marketing and communications. The Awards receives over 6,000 entries from companies and agencies of all sizes, making it one of the largest awards of its kind in the world.

In the W3 Awards, Jetwing Holidays managed to bag the Gold Award while Berjaya Hotels and Resorts, Colombo Courtyard, Pegasus Reef, Oman Hotels, South Lake Resort and Rainforest Ecolodge all won Silver Awards in the “Hotel & Lodging” category. In addition, Dilmah Food Services won the Silver Award in the “Food & Beverages” category. The W3 Awards is the first major web competition to be accessible to companies of all sizes – from the biggest agencies to the smallest firms. It honors creative excellence on the web, and recognizes the creative and marketing professionals behind award-winning sites, videos and marketing programs.

Among the Impact Awards wins, Pegasus Reef was nominated a “Website Aesthetic Winner” while Aitken Spence Holidays and Rainforest Ecolodge landed “Website Aesthetic Leader” awards. Additionally, Berjaya Hotels and Resorts won in the “Website Content Layout Leader” category.
