Silver Needle Hospitality – Group Website
A responsive website that is compatible on a wide variety of devices including smart phones, tablets, laptops and desktop computers.
Developed for Aitken Spence Hotels, the Heritance Hotels website is based on the Word Press CMS. Each hotel can be managed separately, while the structure of the site has been built to easily add new pages and content. The website was the joint winner of the ‘Best Hotel / Accommodation’ Award in the marketing category at the Sri Lanka Tourism Awards 2012. The site also won a Silver Award at the W3 Awards.
Harbour View Hotel
Designed to support 1024 px width to wide screen browsers, the Harbour View Hotel website is meant to offer a user a complete impression of the property at first glance. Developed on the WordPress platform the site functions as a standalone hotel website.
Silver Needle Collection
The site was built to feature the individual boutique hotels under the SilverNeedle brand. The website is responsive and is compatible on smart phones, tablets, laptops and desktop computers. WordPress was used as the CMS.
Mackinnons American Express Travel
The website caters to the outbound travel market from Sri Lanka. It was designed to easily upload packages, deals and new content to continuously engage its target audience. The site is built on Word Press and won the ‘Best in Class’ award from the Interactive Media Awards, New York in 2012.
A WordPress multi-site implementation was developed for Jetwing Hotels. All hotels are part of a single CMS while access rights are managed at the hotel level. The site has over 300 pages and was the joint winner of the ‘Best Hotel / Accommodation’ Award in the marketing category at the Sri Lanka Tourism Awards 2012. The site was also recognized with the “Standard of Excellence” Accolade at the 2012 Web Awards.
A customized Drupal implementation was developed for Backyard Travel. The site is scalable to manage thousands of pages with hundreds of tours featured at any given time. The site was recognized as an ‘Outstanding Website’ at the Web Awards and also won a Silver Award at the 2012 W3 Awards.
The Marah Tea website was developed to showcase the upper-middle class positioning of the brand, revolving around conversations and experiences in the process of enjoying tea. The site is built on WordPress and won the Gold Award at the W3 Awards in 2012.
