eMarketingEye is an internationally acclaimed digital marketing agency based in Sri Lanka, working with over 1200 clients across 45+ countries. We specialise in providing digital marketing solutions to the travel & hospitality industry offering a wide range of services from website design and development to performance-driven search marketing, SEO, social media campaigns and web analytics solutions.

We seek experienced individuals who can convert web layouts into HTML5, CSS3 and jQuery driven web templates and integrate them into Open Source Content Management Systems such as WordPress. From understanding our clients’ brands to visualizing effective solutions, our web team works independently on multiple projects for some of the best names in travel and hospitality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conversion of web designs developed in Adobe Photoshop into HTML5, CSS3 and jQuery driven web templates
• Integration of the HTML templates to Open Source Content Management Systems
• Cross-Browser Compatibility: Should have skills and knowledge of writing code that works consistently across multiple web browsers, considering their varying standards and rendering engines.
• User Experience (UX) and User Interface (UI) Design: Basic understanding of UX and UI principles is important to create visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces.
• Performance Optimization: Understanding techniques for optimizing frontend performance, such as minification, caching, and lazy loading, can greatly enhance the user experience.
• Frameworks and Libraries: Familiarity with popular frontend frameworks and libraries like React, Angular, or Vue.js is often required as these frameworks simplify the development process and enhance efficiency.
• Identification of the technical barriers thorough analysis of the web designs
• Delivering within short time frames and meeting tight deadlines

Requirements:

• A degree or equivalent qualification in Information Technology
• A minimum of 3 years experience in W3C compliant, website development
• Expertise in HTML5, CSS3, jQuery and Responsive Frameworks such as Bootstrap
• Knowledge in Open Source Content Management Systems such as WordPress
• Knowledge in Adobe Photoshop and basic programming skills in PHP
• Ability to learn and work independently with minimum supervision
