eMarketingEye had the pleasure of hosting a workshop tailored for our clients in the hospitality industry in Sri Lanka, at the company’s state-of-the-art office premises in Colombo on June 27th. Themed “Digital Excellence for Hotels: AI Powered Campaigns, Social Media, Metasearch, and Measurement,” the workshop aimed to equip hoteliers with digital marketing strategies to enhance their online presence and performance.
The workshop featured four key sessions, each designed to address critical aspects of digital marketing for hotels:
Generating Demand to Maximize Your Performance: The first session focused on leveraging AI powered Demand Gen campaigns to generate new demand for your brand and convert them effectively using Performance Max for Travel Goals.
Maximizing Bookings Through Social Media Ad Testing: In the second session, we explored the importance of ad testing in optimizing social media campaigns for the hospitality industry through a deep dive into A/B testing on Meta
Realigning Measurement and Targeting Expectations in a Privacy-First Context: With privacy becoming a paramount concern, the third session addressed how to adapt measurement and targeting strategies to comply with changing privacy regulations and consumer expectations, ensuring responsible and ethical use of analytics data.
Helping Your Next Guest Find You on Metasearch: The final session was focussed on leveraging Metasearch to effectively compete against OTAs and capture the customers who are searching for you.
Following these insightful sessions, we hosted an interactive Q&A segment. The speakers, along with our Senior Vice President who heads our digital arm, answered a myriad of questions from the attendees. This session provided further clarity on implementing the strategies discussed.
The workshop concluded with a networking session, offering attendees the chance to connect with industry peers, share experiences, and build valuable relationships. The event provided a dynamic platform for fostering community and collaboration within the hospitality sector.
