The EME Team Make Their Presence Felt at the ATM 2019

The renowned Arabian Travel Market or ATM was a four-day affair that ran from 28 April – 1 May 2019 at the Dubai International Convention & Exhibition Centre (DICEC). The event offered a key platform for those attending to establish ties and network with various hospitality and travel companies, emerging enterprises and top international buyers.

Our team had the pleasure of attending this leading global trade show for the inbound and outbound travel industry in the Middle East, which is expected to generate more than $2.5 billion worth of travel industry deals.

The annual business-to-business (B2B) exhibition showcased over 2,800 products and destinations from around the world to over 28,000 buyers and travel trade visitors.
The event also played host to over 39,000 attendees giving them the chance to network and negotiate as well as to discover the latest industry trends and opinions.
Our team was out in force as they worked the floor, and gained excellent opportunities to make new connections, access industry news and developments along with trends and technologies from around the world. They also had the chance to catch up with some of our existing long-term clients from Anantara Hotels, Resorts & Spas, Damac Hotels & Resorts and Dusit Thani along with a few other friends from our island home.

The four-day event also featured very interactive and well-informed forums led by industry leaders on highly-trending topics; these included “How to Positively Change the Perception of Destinations Using the Power of Social Media”, “Technology Taking the Traveller Experience to the Next Level”, “Using Social Media to Improve Customer Service and Encourage Your Staff to Become Your Online Ambassadors”, “How Emerging Technology is Simplifying the Travel Experience” and many more.

It was not only a productive event and a great opportunity for networking but also for learning new industry trends and forging new partnerships too.
