eMarketingEye’s October 2026 AI Visibility Report for Singapore Hotels tracks 402 hotel brands across 32 segments, revealing which properties ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity and Claude recommend when travellers ask where to stay in the Lion City.
Singapore. eMarketingEye has launched its AI Visibility Report for Singapore Hotels, October 2026, the first-ever report of its kind for Singapore’s hotel industry. Powered by AEYEPULSE, eMarketingEye’s AI brand-monitoring platform, the report discovered 402 hotel brands appearing in AI-generated recommendations, spread across 32 traveller segments.
Singapore is the latest market in eMarketingEye’s growing AI visibility series, following earlier reports for Sri Lanka hotels, Maldives resorts and, most recently, Phuket hotels, launched with HSMAI Asia Pacific.
Singapore is one of the most competitive hotel markets in Asia, and the way guests shortlist it is changing. A growing share of trip planning now starts with a question typed into an AI platform (LLMs) rather than a search bar or an OTA. This report shows, for the first time, which Singapore hotels those platforms (LLMs) are actually naming, and which ones they are leaving out.
- 402 hotel brands surfaced in AI responses about where to stay in Singapore.
- 32 segments tracked, from Luxury and Business & MICE to neighbourhood searches like Chinatown, Little India and East Coast / Katong, plus Singapore-specific intents such as F1, Changi Airport stopovers and Medical Travel.
- 4 AI platforms scanned: ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity and Claude.
The spread of brands is wide but uneven. The Affordable & Budget segment alone surfaced 131 brands, while Marina Bay surfaced just 18, a sign of how tightly AI platforms concentrate their picks around Singapore’s best-known waterfront.
A Three-Way Race at the Top
Three iconic names lead Singapore’s AI shortlist: Marina Bay Sands Singapore, Capella Singapore and Raffles Singapore. Below them the margins are razor thin, with the fourth-placed hotel trailing third by just 0.1 points.
Visibility is spread across many owners. Accor places five properties in the top 30, more than any other group, with Far East Hospitality and Marriott close behind on four each, and Pan Pacific Hotels Group placing three.
Where Specialists Beat the Big Names
The overall ranking favours famous landmarks, but the segment results show that focused positioning can win specific searches outright.
One hotel stands out for range. Capella Singapore leads four segments, more than any other hotel: Wellness & Spa, Weddings & Banquets, Luxury and Staycation.
Some leads are close to absolute. Capella Singapore and Marina Bay Sands Singapore each appear in more than 97% of AI answers in their segment, owning Wellness & Spa and Marina Bay almost completely.
Mid-scale and lifestyle brands punch above their weight. Hilton Singapore Orchard leads both Orchard Road and Shopping, Fraser Suites Singapore tops Serviced & Hotel Apartments, Village Hotel Katong takes East Coast / Katong, and lyf Funan Singapore is the top pick for Solo Travellers.
Value hotels hold their own. Affordable & Budget is the most crowded segment in the report, with 131 brands discovered, and Worldwide Hotels Group leads it: V Hotel Lavender comes out on top, followed by sister property Hotel Boss. V Hotel Lavender and Hotel Boss also tie for first place in Near Event Venues, showing that well-located, good-value properties can win both price-led and event-led searches.
Segment Winners: Who Owns Each Traveller Search
What This Means for Singapore Hoteliers
“Singapore has more than 400 hotel brands competing for a place in AI answers, and most travellers will only ever see a handful of them. What this report shows is that the shortlist is not fixed. Specialist and mid-scale hotels are already beating far bigger names in the segments they focus on. With AEYEPULSE, any Singapore hotel can see exactly where it stands on each platform, benchmark itself against its real competitors, and do the content and technical work that moves those numbers over time.”

Measuring visibility is only the first step. eMarketingEye is already working with leading hotel brands on AI visibility monitoring and Generative Engine Optimisation (GEO), helping them increase their AI visibility by implementing a full-funnel GEO strategy. That covers the content, technical and digital PR work that shapes how a hotel is discovered, cited and recommended by AI platforms such as ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity and Claude, so it appears in more AI answers, ranks higher in them and wins more of the traveller searches that matter to its business.Behind the Data
For this report, run in October 2026, AEYEPULSE submitted carefully authored, real-world prompts to ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity and Claude, reflecting how travellers actually ask for hotel recommendations in Singapore. Each response was analysed for the brands named, where they appeared in ranked answers, and which external sources the AI cited. Analysts then reviewed and normalised brand names so that different spellings of the same hotel count as one entry, before results were grouped into the 32 segments. The AI Visibility Score measures brand mentions per AI response, weighted across platforms by their relative importance. A higher score means a hotel appears in a larger share of AI answers. This report reflects AI-generated recommendations captured during October 2026 using predefined generic prompts. AI outputs are non-deterministic, and rankings may change as models evolve. Results are relative rankings, not a substitute for sales or market-share data, and the report does not promote, endorse or recommend any brand listed.About eMarketingEye
