Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and manage robust CI/CD pipelines and automation tools.
• Maintain and optimize cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Deploy, configure, and manage container orchestration systems, specifically Kubernetes / AWS EKS.
• Collaborate closely with development teams to streamline deployment and operational workflows.
• Implement robust security practices aligned with DevSecOps principles.
• Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance to junior engineers.
• Conduct regular system audits ensuring compliance with industry best practices and standards.
• Analyze and troubleshoot complex technical issues, implementing effective, sustainable solutions.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years of professional-level experience in a similar role
• BSc degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related subject
• Cloud architecting experience, preferably in AWS
• Deep expertise with Kubernetes clusters, deployments, management, and troubleshooting
• Strong proficiency with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Azure DevOps).
• Experience in RDBMS such as MySQL, pgSQL
• Experience with application and infrastructure monitoring systems (e.g., Prometheus, Nagios, Zabbix, New Relic)
• Experience with configuration management (e.g., Puppet, Chef, Ansible)
• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, Pulumi).
• Solid scripting skills (e.g., Bash, Python, Perl)
• Knowledge of DevOps/SRE principles, frameworks, and methodologies.
• Sound knowledge of networking concepts, switching and routing
• Experience in designing and managing infrastructure for WordPress, Drupal, Laravel and Magento will be a definite advantage
• Kubernetes certification is a must ( CKA/CKS )
• Certified in AWS SysOps / DevOps
• Red Hat certification will be an added advantage
